The GENESIS Discovery Services are based on OGC Catalogue Service standard (CSW), supporting the following ebRIM profiles (Note: The SensorML extension for ebRIM draft specification is being tested as well in GENESIS):

• OGC Cataloguing of ISO Metadata (CIM) using the ebRIM profile of CS-W (0.1.11). ;

• EO Products Extension Package for ebRIM (ISO/TS 15000-3) Profile of CSW 2.0 (0.2.4)

These Discovery Services are provided via the following software:

• Open source Buddata ebXML Registry

• ERDAS catalogue

Two user interfaces are available to access these catalogues:

• Search interface from the GENESIS Portal (first picture);

• Full interface from the Intecs Toolbox (second picture).
