Video Tutorials on Air Quality Services published

A sequence of 4 video tutorials has been produced which ilustrate the use of the GENESIS service portal. The flash-videos (1280x720) can be called up in a lightbox from the "Project Video" compartment on the right, but also be downloaded from the "Download" Menu. The videos show the login to the service portal, the retrieval of data sets from the CIM catalog, and the use of both the Integrated Health Index service and the Aggregated Risk Index service, being implemented on the portal.


 

GENESIS Brochure published

A 20 pages GENESIS brochure has been recently published. One main focus of the publication is on the exploitation of the GENESIS solution by detailing access conditions and licensing schemes of the GENESIS solution and its subsets. A PDF-version is provided for DOWNLOAD

 

3rd GENESIS Newsletter published

The topics of the third GENESIS newsletter, which has been published on July, 19 deal with the GENESIS user workshop at TAS, the joint workshop with PASODOBLE, the publication of the ARI service on the Reference Platform, updates of the core toolkit and the extended toolkit and contributions to the 5th INSPIRE conference DOWNLOAD

 

3rd GENESIS user workshop

The 3rd GENESIS User Workshop was held at the Thales Aleniaspace premises in Cannes-La Bocca on June 15th, 2011. The event focused on the presentation and demonstration of solutions, and was embedded in the intermediate review meeting of the project. The workshop was attended by 41 participants, primarily affiliated to the end user community and the application pilots. Following a general introduction into the objectives and the recent status of the project, the morning was dedicated to live-demonstrations of service implementations on the GENESIS reference platform by all six application pilots.

Sensor installed at Szczecin Lagoon

scczecin_1The suspended solids sensor was installed on June 2nd on the navigation mark named Lower Krepa on the entrance to the Szczecin Lagoon (see map). The work was done successfully thanks to the good cooperation with and special response from the Maritime Office in Szczecin to the GENESIS project.
