The suspended solids sensor was installed on June 2nd on the navigation mark named Lower Krepa on the entrance to the Szczecin Lagoon (see map). The work was done successfully thanks to the good cooperation with and special response from the Maritime Office in Szczecin to the GENESIS project.

The Maritime Office made their ships and specialists available for the project purposes with no charge. The installation process was long lasting because of a power failure on the navigation mark 2 weeks before. The data from the sensor will be available in XML format from June 4th on the FTP server.
